For those of you who know me know that I am thoroughly intrigued with athletics. How cool would it be to be a sportswriter?

On that note...
The Beatles and Jack Kerouac created influential pieces of art under the influence of drugs that reconstructed their consciousness. Why are they not looked down upon in the same way that athletes who test positive for performance enhancing drugs are?

Famous among my group of friends, the blue shot is a staple during our nights downtown; it tastes like paradise! The blue coloring comes from the delicious blue curacao, a flavored liqueur that makes feeling a bit foggy the next morning totally worth it.

Unfortunately, after making my frist trip to the student health services building this morning, I was diagnosed with bronchitis. The exam room was shockingly modern for a university and Dr. Hughes was very helpful but i'm still sick. Bummer. No blue shots for me : (
